Boer Wars

The Boer Wars were fought in South Africa between the British Empire and the Boer republics, namely the South African Republic (Transvaal) and the Orange Free State.

Kaffir Wars (Xhosa Wars)

The Kaffir Wars are the Xhosa Wars or Cape Frontier Wars. These wars were a series of conflicts between European settlers (both British and Boers) and various Xhosa tribes from 1779 to 1879, hence also often referred to as "Africa's 100 Years War".
