is Eleanor of Aquitaine, Anthony Hopkins is Richard the Lion Heart, and Timothy Dalton
- in his first film role - is Philip II of France.
The movie had a
remake in 2003 with Patrick Stewart as Henry II and Glenn Close
as Eleanor but couldn't begin to compete with the original.
