 Vikings who settled in northern France
and founded Normandy.

was Rollo, also called Rolf or Rollon.
In 1066 and headed by
William, they launched the
Norman Conquest and
invaded Britain.
Another group of Normans, inspired by
their fellow man Robert Guiscard, also called Robert de Hauteville,
went down to southern Italy and Sicily.
