Helmut von Moltke 1800-1891
Helmut (or Helmuth) Karl Bernhard Count von Moltke was a smart man and very
successful when it came to war strategy.
Von Moltke was one of the main reasons for the
Prussian victories in the Danish War of 1864, the
Austro-Prussian War in 1866 and the
Franco-Prussian War in 1870 - 1871.
