Napoleon II 1811-1832
Napoleon II was in full Napoléon-François-Charles-Joseph
Bonaparte, son of famous
Napoleon I
and Maria Luisa of Austria.
His father made him king of Rome as a birth present but that went down
the drain when Napoleon Senior abdicated in 1814.
In 1818, Napoleon II was
made Duke of Reichstadt by the Austrians who had pity.
The Duke of Reichstadt
died of tuberculosis at age 21.
