Pablo Escandón y Barrón 1857-1926
Pablo Escandón y Barrón had his hands full during the
Mexican Revolution.
Pablo was a career soldier and made it
all the way to the rank of general.
The good man was an aristocrat and
loaded. Pablo Escandón y Barrón was the owner of the haciendas
Xochimancas and Atlihuayan. Both haciendas were located
in the Mexican
state of Morelos.
By the way,
Amador Salazar Jiménez,
who was
Emiliano Zapata's
cousin, worked on Pablo's Atlihuayán hacienda.
Pablo Escandón y Barrón was governor of
Morelos, beginning his term on March 15, 1909.
