Patrick Henry 1736-1799
Patrick Henry was born in Studley, Virginia. He was of Scottish
descend.
His father was John Henry.
Before becoming successful, Patrick
Henry flopped with several business ventures. He made his
breakthrough when he realized that his brain was his strength, not
farming, not shopkeeping.
His most famous oration was the
Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death speech, delivered on March
23, 1775, at the Second Virginia Convention.
