Caracalla 188-217
Caracalla was the Roman Emperor from 198 to 217.
From 198 to 211 he ruled jointly with his father
Septimius Severus.
In 212, Caracalla grants Roman
citizenship to all free inhabitants of the empire. This is
the
Edict of Caracalla.
