TREATY OF AIX-LA-CHAPELLE

Aix-la-Chapelle is the French name for
the German city of Aachen.
The Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle, also called the
Peace of Aix-la-Chapelle,
was negotiated on October 18, 1748, and
concluded
the
War of the Austrian Succession, as well as its various
chapters, as there were the
First
and Second Silesian War
and
the
Third French and Indian War,
also called
King George's War
