The Treaty of Cardis is also
spelled Treaty of Kardis.
The Treaty of Cardis was signed by
Russia and Sweden because both countries were done with the
Russo-Swedish War of 1656.
At the time, the ruler over Russia was
Tsar
Alexis.
Ruler over Sweden was
Charles X Gustav,
followed by his son Charles XI in 1660.
