May 10, 1806
Vellore Mutiny. South Indian
troops revolt against the British at Vellore, southern India.
June 11, 1806
Great Britain declares war
against Prussia.
July 4, 1806
Battle of Maida. A small
British force, led by General Sir John Stuart, books a victory over
the French in southern Italy.
July 5, 1806
Napoleon I
proclaims the Kingdom of Holland and makes his brother
