START I 1991 & START II 1993
The Strategic Arms Reduction Talks
(START) were a continuation of disarmament negotiations
between the US and the Soviet Union.

START I was signed in 1991 by
George H.W. Bush and
Mikhail Gorbachev.
START II was signed in 1993 by
George H.W. Bush and
Boris Yeltsin.
