Treaty of Pressburg 1805
The Treaty of Pressburg, also called
Peace of Pressburg,
was signed by Austria and France at Pressburg, which is today's Bratislava in Slovakia.
The treaty was signed at the end of the
War of the Third Coalition, on
December 26, 1805.
Holy Roman Emperor
Francis II
had a rather rotten day.
Napoleon on the other hand
loved the smell of conquest in the morning.
