Ancient Armenia
Ancient Armenia's heyday started roughly around the year 700 BC.
Soon after, the
Medes and
Persians took control of the neighborhood and consequently
incorporated Armenia into their empire.
One of Armenia's beauties is Mount Ararat, according to the
Bible the very mountain on which Noah's Ark made a stop with a bunch
of seasick animals.
