Edouard Daladier 1884-1970
Edouard Daladier was a French
politician.
He will probably be best remembered for putting his signature under the
Munich Agreement in September 1938.
Hitler,
Mussolini, and
Neville
Chamberlain signed as well.
When Hitler's troops invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, Daladier
could use his copy of the Munich Agreement to light a fire. France declared war on Germany on
September 3, 1939.
