Ferdinand II the Catholic 1452-1516
Together with his wife,
Queen Isabella I,
Ferdinand became in 1479 Ferdinand II of Aragon and
Ferdinand V
of Castile
As Ferdinand III, he also held
the crown of Naples. And as Ferdinand II, he was the king of
Sicily.
Ferdinand's father was
John II.
In 1516, Ferdinand of Spain died. He was
succeeded by his grandson Charles, who became the
Emperor Charles V.
