Henri Matisse 1869-1954
Henri-Émile-Benoît Matisse is the
painter French people are proud of. Henri settled in Nice for
obvious reasons (sun and vibrant colors.)
You are welcome to
visit the
Henri
Matisse Museum in Nice, which is located just across
the street from Matisse's old apartment at the Regina Hotel on the
Cimiez hill.
