Herodotus is also called Father of Historians or
Father of History because of his reports and writings on the war between
Persia and Greece, aka the
Greco-Persian Wars, which were fought from
500 B.C. to 479 B.C.
Herodotus attempted to answer this question and was of the
opinion that after the
Trojan War the Etruscans migrated from
Lydia, today's western Turkey. Today, not many scholars agree with
this theory.
