Tacitus
was a Roman orator and major historian.
His full
name was Publius Cornelius Tacitus. He was also called
Gaius Cornelius Tacitus.
Tacitus married the daughter of
Gnaeus Julius Agricola, the
Roman Governor of Britain from AD 77-84.
