RICHARD WAGNER'S FAMILY
In 1836, Richard married Wilhelmine Planer, an actress. When
he fell in love with a girl in Switzerland, the two separated.
In 1870, Richard married Cosima von Bülow. Cosima was
Franz Liszt's daughter. They had three children.
RICHARD WAGNER'S LIFE - In a Nutshell
Little Richard hated school but loved music and theater. He soon
discovered that composition was his forte.
Richard Wagner became involved in the Revolutions of 1848 and
had to leave the country for a while.
In 1864 Louis II, king of Bavaria and hardcore Richard Wagner
groupie, supported the composer's every need.
Wagner died of heart failure.
