Zachary Taylor 1784-1850
Zachary Taylor was a hero of the
Mexican War and people liked him. Taylor consequently became
the 12th president of the United States.
Zachary Taylor was in office from 1849
until 1850. His term was cut short because he died earlier than he
could finish it.
Cause of death? Cholera.
Millard Fillmore became the next
US president.
