George Sand was the pen name of
Aurore Dupin. Aurore was a famous French writer and a
cheerful bisexual.
Together with Jules Sandeau,
Aurore wrote some articles for Le Figaro. These articles were
published under the pseudonym Jules Sand.
In 1832, Aurore Dupin chose her own pseudonym
George Sand for her novel Indiana.
Star composer Frederic Chopin was one of
her many lovers.
