LIFE
Born in
Freiberg, Moravia, which is now your Czech Republic, Freud's family moved to Vienna, Austria,
when he was a child.
Sigmund Freud was a Jew, so he had to leave Austria when the
Nazis came. He escaped to London, England, where he eventually died of cancer.
