Xenophon 431-350 BC
Greek historian Xenophon was
said to have been quite handsome.
As a soldier, Xenophon fought together
with
Cyrus the Younger at the
Battle
of Cunaxa.
He reported about his adventures in his work
Anabasis Kyrou, The Expedition of Cyrus, which hit the
ancient bestseller list.
Among other things, Xenophon reported on the
Battle of Leuctra.
Xenophon and Socrates
Xenophon was an admirer of
Socrates. He
wrote an account of Socrates' Trial -
Apology.
